I’m a user of the CGA systems and I have some questions. Is this the place to find the answers?
In any case, I am an autodidact and I would like to solve my own questions. Is there a manual available?

  Yes, at the time of the installation, a manual should have been provided corresponding to the module in which is a complete reference of each one of the options available and a procedure to follow. If you need a copy, please ask us for it and we will gladly send you and electronic copy for your reference or to print out.
 
At this time I’m a user of other systems. ¿Would it implicate a lot of work and effort to start with CGA? And, what about current data on the old system?
  We will be in charge of doing the transference of information to our modules and we run parallel calculations, to verify and demonstrate the correct performance of the system, so that the client, simply selects the CGA icon on “screen desk” instead of the old one can start enjoying a new age on the data processing.

  The CGA system has an option of automatic backup, which allows to recover within seconds, all the information using any other PC set up as a server.
¿Is it possible to access the modules from different PC’s?
  Yes, there is unlimited access available and does not causes to slow down the process, because of the design client-server. Further more, you may access the system from remote PC located at another locations in a different city or country.
 
¿What are the requirements of a PC to handle the software?
  That is capable of loading the operative system Windows 98 or higher.
 
¿Can more time clocks be connected to the Time and Attendance module?
  A scanner may be connected to each computer, which is part of the network and may work as a time clock on critical hours such as end of shifts. This is recommended to have in companies with over 1000 employees.
 
At this time the payroll is being calculated by an outside source. ¿Can I eliminate this service?
  Yes, the system includes all the necessary calculations according to actual laws and with a maintenance fee, we would be updating the system every time there is s a change on the law.
How long would it take to get the system set up and running?
  For most of the modules it is required from 1 to 2 weeks, only the payroll , may take 3 to 4 weeks on companies with over 1000 employees.
 
There are times we have particular circumstances and we require personalized support. Is this support included on the maintenance service?
  Yes, we distinguish for our personalized attention to the customer. Our engineers, go directly to your facilities and personally look into the information because we know that in certain occasions being present the problems can be better understood and therefore resolved quickly.
You mention some outside connections and transfers. What is this about?
  Regarding Accounting: Data transfer to the systems of the Parent House.
Regarding Human Resources: Transfers to Social Security (IMSS), the Savings Plan (SUA) and other systems of the Parent House that control employee’s data.
Regarding Payroll: Transference to bank accounts to deposit the payroll and savings plan money, and to the companies which sell the food coupons.
Regarding Accounts Payable: Deposits to the vendor’s checking account.
All this can be done with a text file or a connection on Internet.
 
On one first instance, it was purchased a license for Payroll, but now we want to access the system from another PC. What would be the cost of it?
  As per the license, none; being that the system may be accessed and used from PC connected to the network. As per the installation and configuration of the PC it is included on the maintenance service fee.
 
¿How many updates are given annually?
  At least 1 and corresponds to the changes in the law. Only in the event in which we would have an upgrade of our software we would do one more, but normally this would be done when updating by changes in law.
